SEALY MAYOR STOLARSKI REPLIES TO REMPRIMAND CALLS
Sealy Mayor Mark Stolarski says it is not a case of ‘simply following the rules’ but rather that of a ‘sore loser’ when it comes to efforts by mayor pro-tem Everett Bubak to have him reprimanded and removing him from office.
Mayor Stolarski said today (Wednesday) that he defeated Bubak in the May election by a good ten points and he has not been happy with that. Mayor Stolarski goes on to say that he wanted a discussion about a sewage project to be on the agenda and he was not responsible for its removal. He said removing the agenda items was not intentional
Stolarski says there is money for the sewage project but Bubak wants the money to improve a frontage road project that would help a local developer. Stolarksi says the sewage projects needs discussion, and the removal of the agenda items was simply an error in the copy/paste process. The Mayor says there is no proof of any violations.
Mayor Stolarski survived a June 24th attempt to reprimand him. The proposal was delayed and he says Bubak needs to come up with some proof that removing the agenda items was intentional.
