The Texas County Agricultural Agents Association honored District 13 State Rep. Lois Kolkhorst of Brenham with the ‘Man’ of the Year Award.
Kolkhorst was on hand at the ceremonies in Lufkin to receive the award.
The organization has sponsored this award for 50 years
Kolkhorst was honored for her outstanding leadership in agriculture and for her support for agricultural education system.

Kolkhorst says this award was special to her because she had always advance the efforts of agricultural agents.
