COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPROVE AMBULANCE MODULE PURCHASE
Washington County Commissioners met this morning to discuss the process of equipping the local EMS with a new ambulance. The Commissioners approved the purchase of a new ambulance module from a state contracted vendor.
The module is the collection of accessories and parts that turn the truck into a fully functioning ambulance.
The purchase of the ambulance and module will be reflected in the next fiscal budget.
The budgets approved were the Sheriff's Monthly Office monthly report as well as the EMS monthly report.
Also approved was the addition of the Koether Road extension to the Transportation Infrastructure Project List as part of the County’s TxDot Transportation Infrastructure Program, and the approval of pending Fairground Management’s Rental and Regulation Contracts.
The next Commissioner’s Court meeting will be next Tuesday at 9:00am at the court house.
