BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING BURGLARIES

  

Brenham Police are investigating a pair of burglaries—reported Tuesday evening.

Just before 10:00, Officer Jonathan Phipps was called to the 2600 block of Brooke Bend.

The caller said someone had broken into the residence and stole several items.  They said the break-in occurred sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 9:30p.m.

Items taken included: a Playstation4 game system, video games, a watch, a flat iron and set of speakers.

Entry into the home must be made by using a code on a key pad. The stolen items were valued at approximately $1,100.

 

Then, at around 10:30 Cpl. Justin Schiller was dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Day.

The caller said that as he was preparing to leave for work at approximately 5 p.m. he saw two subjects pacing near his apartment.

When he returned home at approximately 10 p.m., he saw his front window broken and open and both deadbolts on the front door locked from the inside.

Two Xbox gaming systems were missing as well as numerous video games. Total estimated cost of the items is over $1,000.
