LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER HONOR BY MOTHER’S AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING
A local law enforcement officer was honored by Mother’s Against Drunk Driving at a luncheon in downtown Bryan Tuesday.
Corporal Steven Eilert of the Brenham Police Department was one of the first responders recognized for his work in preventing drunk driving.
The event was at the Astin Mansion and recognized 20 law enforcement officers from various agencies for their work to fight drunk driving.
For the officers that were honored at the event, it was a great opportunity to bring even more awareness to the cause.
The ceremony honored officers based on their number of DWI arrests, quality of case work, and thorough testimony in court.
