HIGHWAY 50 NOW OPEN AFTER ONE CAR ACCIDENT

  

There was  a major one car accident on Highway 50 near the Independence Firearms, and had 50 closed in both directions. Police report that Highway 50 is now open.

The accident occurred around 9:27 Saturday morning.

There was EMS on the scene and a medical helicopter, as well as fire trucks.

There was one person trapped inside the vehicle, and that person has been taken to the hospital.
