UNITY THEATRE BEGINS ITS PRESENTATION OF “SHOOTING STAR”
The Unity Theatre in Brenham is presenting a play about a reunion at a middle-America Airport.
Shooting Star, a play by Steven Dietz, is about being snowed in overnight at a middle-America airport, former college lovers Elena Carson and Reed McAllister have an unexpected and life-altering reunion. As the night gives way to laughter, banter, remembrance and alcohol, Elena and Reed revisit a past that holds more surprises than they imagined—and a present that neither of them could have predicted. Filled with laughter and ache, Shooting Star is a bittersweet romantic comedy about the middle days of our lives, and how we get there.
The play will run beginning today, April 9th through the 19th. Reservations are recommended.
Curtain times will be Thursdays at 7:30pm, Friday and Saturdays at 8:00pm, and Sundays at 4:00 pm.
Tickets are $25 for reserved tickets. Tickets for tonight's preview are $15, and all unsold seats are $15, fifteen minutes prior to the performance.
