RIBBON CUTTING HELD FOR FORMER PICKARD HS HOME EC BUILDING

  

The A.R. Pickard High School Reunion Association held a ribbon cutting for the former A.R. Pickard Building  Home Economics building at 205 Kerr St., on Saturday.

The building, which has been refurbished, is the former Home Economics building, which is the only building of the high school still standing. The location is adjacent to the old Alton Elementary School, and is being donated to the Association by Brenham ISD.
