NEW PORTION OF CHAPPELL HILL STREET NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC
The City of Brenham announced at Thursday's Brenham City Council meeting that Chappell Hill St. between Market St and Highway 290 is now open for traffic, and signal light at Chappell Hill and Market has been installed.
The signal at Market and Becker has been removed, and a stop sign has been placed on Becker St.
The portion of Chappell Hill St. beyond its intersection of Highway 290 is still closed to traffic.
Striping of Chappell Hill St. is still in progress.
