TEN PERSONS PLEAD GUILTY TO FELONY OFFENSES
Ten persons plead guilty to felony offenses in the courtroom of Judge Carson Campbell and received terms ranging from probation to prison terms in the 21st Judicial District Court, according to Julie Renken, District Attorney.
Charles Everett Black, Jr, age 31, of Austin, plead guilty to several drug charges and received various prison sentences, including three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver from January 17, 2015, and was sentenced to ten years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and $180 lab fee and Court Cost.
Black also plead guilty to one count of Possession of Marijuana 4oz to 5 lbs from January 17, 2015 and was sentenced to one year in the TDCJ.
Corey Evans, age 41 of Austin, plead guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance from July 29, 2011, had his probation revoked, and was sentenced to four years in the TDCJ, fined $1500, court cost, court-appointed attorney fee, $50 Crime Stoppers Fee, and a $108 lab fee.
Roy Melvin Jackson, Jr, age 45 of Chappell Hill, plead guilty, to four counts Burglary of a Habitation from July 9, 2014, May 29, 2013, and two on July 6, 2014, and was sentenced prison time in the TDCJ, ordered to pay court cost, $760.97 restitution.
Donald Armstead, age 51, of Brenham, plead guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance from August 4, 2014, and was sentenced to twelve months in the TDCJ, fined $1500, court cost, and court-appointed attorney fee.
Deadrius Dewayne Walker, age 20, of Washington, plead guilty to Theft $1500-$20,000 from November 17, 2012. A Hearing was held on probation violations, and probation was adjudicated and sentenced to two years in the TDCJ, fined $883, and court-appointed attorney fee.
Timothy Clark, age 46, of Brookshire, plead guilty to Theft $1500-$20,000 from March 11, 2012, and was sentenced to two years in the TDCJ probated for five years, court cost, court-appointed attorney fee, $9, 443 restitution, $50 Crime Stopper Fee, 200 hours community service restitution.
Elmo Irvin, age 44, of Dime Box, plead guilty to Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger from March 8. 2015 and seas sentenced to two years in the TDCJ probated for four years, court cost and a $1500 fine, $100 EMS Trauma Fund, Driving While Intoxicated Intervention Class, Victim Impact Statement, one year driver license suspension, and fifteen days in the Washington County Jail as a condition of probation. Irvin also has to provide DMA and Urinalysis samples.
David Huff, age 53, of Brenham, plead gulty to the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle from June 19, 2014 and was sentenced to two years in the TDCJ probated for three years, $1000 fine, court cost, court-appointed attorney fee, $50 warrant fee, $50 Crime Stopper fee, 1000 hours of community service restitution.
Brenda Maylene Moore, age 53 of Brenham, plead guilty to Theft Less Than $1500 with Two Previous Convictions from July 19, 2014, and was sentenced to two years in the TDCJ probated for two years, court cost, $39.95 restitution, $50 Crime Stopper fee, drug/alcohol evaluation and treatment and provide DNA and urinalysis samples.
