FOUR ARRESTED ON SOLICITATION CHARGES
An undercover “sting” operation in Brenham has resulted in four people charged with online solicitation of a minor.
The Texas Attorney General’s office and the Brenham Police Department coordinated the operation.
Timmy Varela, 22, of Bellville; Austin Lyman Bishop, 32, of Austin; Montreyle Devon McCormick, 24, of Plano; Chad Christian Clift, 35, of College Station were all arrested for online solicitation of a minor.All four are being held under $50,000 bond.
Online solicitation of a minor is a second-degree felony, punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

well I sure got your attention.no i’m not one of these people,there are plenty of crimes that are not soloved,and what ever comments that were made.people wake up everyone’s kid has a cell phone teach your children that the internet can be dangerous monitor your childs cellphone these preditors will still be out there if we do these stings or not that was my point I am not what’s wrong society it’s the way society jumps to conclusions about one’s point of view.And yes I have two daughters

A huge waste of time? you wouldn’t care if someone was trying to solicit your child or are you also in the same league as these grown men? Is this guy serious? Come on man!!
what a irresponsible thing to say, what if that was your daughter or even son that these people were attempting to solicit with?
this sounds like a huuuge waste of money and man hours why not just solve the crimes that are already on the books instead of creating more
Wow. Trump you must not have any children, know any children, care about or love any children. I have three and they are priceless. I would do anything to keep them safe. Technology has taken over our world such that my children do not understand a time without it. I monitor my children constantly. That being said, I cannot monitor what the sickos in this world are doing. As a mom, as an American, as an active member in my community, I am thankful for the attorney general’s office and all law enforcement for working tirelessly to protect not only my children but all of the innocent children in our country.
What? So we should just let all the criminals that haven’t been caught yet continue to commit crimes and focus on the few crimes that haven’t been solved? These kinds of predators are sickos, the kind that are trying to do horrible things to our children, my children, your children. And you think we should just let them run around totally unchecked? Are you serious?
Trump, these men are soliciting minors! They are pretending to be kids their ages and manage to find where they live or get the kids to meet them so they can do what they want with/to them! Maybe you don’t have or know any kids that could be lured, hurt, or worse by people like this. But I am happy to see this arrest.
Trump you did you bump your head on a stump? Crime is Crime. Whether past, present. I say, “put’m away. Far, far, far away. Make’m Work, In the heat and in the sun. That would be good for first offenders. Second offenders can get nuetered.
Waste of money? You gotta be joking, right? As a parent, I can guarantee you that the only huge waste of money would have been on trying a parent of one of their victims with capital murder.
