PLANS BEING MADE FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT

  

The Brenham Community Education Building, built in 1927, is the only remaining historic building in the oldest school district in Texas. Brenham ISD turned 140 years-old this year, and the Community Education building has been a staple of education in our community for nearly 90 of those years.

Because of the lives it touches, plans are being made to paint, landscaping, and general upkeep to give it the luster it so deserves, so a Community Education Building Beautification Bonanza will be held October 31 from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Interested community members, families, businesses, and organizations can donate their time and effort for that morning to invest in a building that has invested deeply in our community.

There will be activities for the entire family or group, so visit www.brenhamcommunityed.com/bonanza to fill out the registration form to help prepare your group in advance.

There will be on-site tutorials from local businesses for those who want to learn how to paint, prep, clean, or landscape.
