UNITY THEATRE TO PRESENT “SEE ROCK CITY”
The Unity Theatre will be presenting” See Rock City” a comedy/drama, for two weekend in November, previewing on the November 5th and opening on the November 6th, and runs through November 15.
“See Rock City” is the 2nd play in Arlene Hutton’s trilogy, but it easy to catch up if missed the first in the Trilogy, “Last Train to Nibroc.” Hutton is able to gather all of the pertinent information from the first story into this one, so getting caught up is made easy for the audience.
Ryan Schabach and Susan Draper have returned to continue their journey as Raleigh and May. You’ll also recognize Ryan from some of his Unity favorites, such as Mary’s Wedding, Sander’s Family Christmas and Almost Maine; and Susan from The Turn of the Screw, A Child’s Christmas in Whales, Deathtrap, and Chapter Two.
The sequel introduces two new characters as their mothers-in-law, played by Unity’s co-founder, Teresa (Beckers) James, and Pamela Vogel, both Unity veterans. Carolyn Johnson, having directed Last Train to Nibroc as well as other Unity productions, also returns to direct this well rounded cast.
Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 4:00 pm. Tickets are $25 and they are reserved, however $15 tickets are available for Preview, November 5th, and all unsold seats are $15 at 15 minutes prior to any performance.
A talk-back with the cast and crew immediately follows the Preview performance on November 5th and a Director’s Chat is scheduled for 7:30 pm on Saturday, November 14th, prior to the show.
