COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER SENATE BILL 1913 EXPENDITURES BILL

  

The Washington County Commissioners will discuss and possibly approval a Resolution in support of the budgetary responsibility of the Commissioners Court and the implementation of Senate Bill 1913, which preserves the process for Commissioners’ court approval of all expenditures when they meet at their regular Tuesday meeting at 9am.

Also on the agenda is the discussion upon granting the Washington County Emergency Medical Services the authority to purchase a 2016 F450 Chassis with 2016 budgeted funds.

The EMS is also asking the commissioners to approve the purchase of a 2016 Ford Expedition with 2016 budgeted funds.

The commissioners will also act to approve the reappointments to the Brazos Valley Council of Governments’ Regional Transportation Planning Committee. The names of those being considered are available at the County Judge’s office.

Also being discussed is the awarding of the bid for the abatement of a public nuisance located at 17365 FM 912 in Old Washington.

A contract between Washington County and Kofile Preservation, Inc for Preservation of District Court records will also be discussed.

The commissioners will meet at in the court chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
