CANDLELIT VIGIL TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

  

Local organizations in Washington County will come together to bring to light the problem of domestic violence by hold a Candlelight Vigil at Blinn College in Brenham on Tuesday, October 27th at 6pm.

The Washington county Victim’s Task Force aim is to promote awareness and demonstrate solidarity and support for ending domestic violence in Washington County.

Renee Mueller, Washington County Attorney says “Domestic Violence needs to be eradicated within our community,”   The devastation to families – especially to their children – is more than a serious crime, it is a tragedy. The Task Force is a good beginning to our mission of ending this crime, and we all need to do our part.”
