RAIN CAUSES AQUATIC CENTER TO CLOSED NOW AND THROUGH THE WEEKEND

  

The City of Brenham Blue Bell Aquatic Center has announced that they are currently closed, and will remain closed throughout the weekend due to no power in the facility due to a lighting issue.

Tammy Jaster, Blue Bell Aquatic Center Supervisor say that it appears that rain has gotten into the building’s electrical system, causing the transformer to burn up, as well as affect the main circuit board panels.

Crews are working to fix the issues and find parts, but are unsure how much damage has been done.
