WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARREST BRENHAM MAN IN YOAKUM

  

Washington County Sheriff’s investigators assisted in arresting a Brenham man in Yoakum on Friday.

According to Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak, on Friday, Washington County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Investigators Eddie Ocanas and Mark Whidden, along with members of the Yoakum Police Department, arrested twenty-eight year old Dennis Stanley Maynard at his home located on Nelson Street in Yoakum.

Maynard was arrested without incident on two charges of Assault, Impeding Breath, a 3rd Degree Felony, one charge of Continuous Family Violence, a 3rd Degree Felony, one charge of Endangering a Child, a State Jail Felony and one charge of Interference with Emergency Request/Assistance, a class (A) misdemeanor.

These charges stem from two different assaults that occurred at a hotel in Brenham on October 15 and October 16, 2015. Maynard’s bonds total $110,000.00 and he remains in the Washington County jail.
