BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
On Saturday around 6:45pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 1455 US Highway 290 W, Arens Services, for a possible vehicle fire next to a structure.
Upon arrival BFD found a passenger vehicle with the engine compartment fully involved in fire. The vehicle was in a secured lot for Arens Services. BFD extinguished the fire and contained the damage to just the vehicle. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshalls Office.
On Sunday a little after 4pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 6211 Wonder Hill Rd for Mutual Aid with Chappell Hill FD for a report of a grass fire.
Upon arrival BFD units found a small fire around a burn pile. BFD and Chappell Hill FD units extinguished the small fire and contained the damage to the small area around the burn pile.
Also on Sunday around 8:40pm, the BFD responded to 1707 Faulkner St. for a report of a gas leak inside a residence.
Upon arrival and after investigation with the City of Brenham Gas Department, no gas smell was detected. Gas Department released BFD personnel.
