BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

The Brenham Fire Department on Monday responded to four call for service, the first one being around 7:30am, with Chappell Hill VFD to 11950 FM 1371 for a reported Structure Fire. BFD was cancelled in route.

Then right before 4pm, BFD responded to 604 Spencer St for an Automatic Alarm. FD units arrived and determined that the residence was having trouble with their alarm system.

Around 6:15pm, BFD responded to 1700 E Stone for an Automatic Alarm. FD units arrived and found a resident had burned food on the stove. FD units clear light smoke from the building and assisted maintenance with resetting the alarm.

And then finally around 11:45pm, BFD responded to 401 E Blue Bell RD for a gas odor inside the building. FD units found gas was leaking from the stove in the kitchen. High Hope maintenance man was on location and fixed the leak.
