“WALK WITH A DOC” SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 21ST

  

The Brenham Clinic and City of Brenham will offer an opportunity to “Walk with a Doc” at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21 in Hohlt Park located at 2425 N. Park Street beginning at the Amphitheatre.

Residents are invited to enjoy a healthy walk in the park at their own pace and have questions answered by Dr. Eric Alford, Family Medicine, and Dr. Jennifer Jones, Pediatrician both of the Brenham Clinic.

“Walk with a Doc” is a free, non-profit program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle.

Each event begins with a 5-10 minute health talk followed by a 30 minute walk. Participants are encouraged to bring friends and family and take part in one walk or the entire series. Water, refreshments and dri-fit shirts will be available.

In honor of Veteran’s Day the Brenham Clinic and City of Brenham would like to recognize our service men and women and public safety personnel. This month’s featured organization and lead walkers are the Brenham Police Department, Brenham Fire Department, Washington County EMS, and veterans. Emergency vehicles will be onsite for children to tour.
