BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Friday, a little after 2pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 305 Liberty St. for a report of an illegal burning.  Upon arrival, the resident had already extinguished the small fire in the front year.  BFD units advised the resident of the City ordnance and not to start anymore fires.

Also on Friday, shortly after 5pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 1901 Longwood Dr., Longwood Elastomers, for an automatic fire alarm.  Upon arrival and after investigation, BFD found that a fire alarm pull station had malfunctioned and the plant employees were in the process of resetting it.  There was no emergency.
