WELL-KNOWN HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW ANNOUNCER SAYS HE WILL RETIRE
A well-known Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announcer has said he will retire.
Bill Bailey, the voice of the Livestock Show for fifty-four years, says he will step down due to health reasons.
Bailey also served as a Harris County constable for several years, as well as a DJ for KIKK radio.
The CEO and president of the HSSLR released the following statement “….."For more than four decades, Bill's unforgettable voice has been a staple of our Rodeo performances, ….. His identifiable sound and colorful additions to these presentations will surely be missed."
