FRIEDENS CHURCH ANNOUNCE MONTHLY DONATIONS TO FOOD BANKS
Friedens Church of Washington is continuing their recognition efforts for their 125th Anniversary in October with their monthly donations to the local food banks.
The members of Friedens each month collect a food item that is equal to 125 pounds or more, then donate to Navasota Food Pantry and Brenham Bread Partners.
In the Month of November, members donated 127 count of Coffee, tea and hot chocolate products to the two food pantries.
In 2015, Friedens Church has donated and delivered to the two food banks: 169 pounds of flour, 135 count cereal, 174 pounds rice, 183 cans vegetables, 222 pounds sugar, 189 packages pasta, 201 cans meat, 144 pounds dry beans, 154 count canned fruit, 184 cornbread.
During December any assorted food item is being collected with delivery before the holidays.
