BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

 On Wednesday around 5:15pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 1505 W Main for a smoke investigation. BFD units arrived and found someone was using a blower to clean a driveway off causing a cloud of dust.

Then about thirty minutes later around 5:45pm, BFD responded to 1710 E Tom Green, Boys and Girls Club for an Automatic Alarm. BFD units arrived and found light smoke in the kitchen area. BFD units set up a fan to remove the smoke. The cause of the smoke was overcooked food.

And finally around 7:45pm, BFD responded to 1900 Pecan Circle Dr. for a report of smoke in a structure. BFD units arrived and found light smoke in a residence. BFD used a positive pressure fan to remove the smoke. The cause of the smoke was from burnt food on the stove.

And this morning, a little after 3:30am, the Brenham Fire Department responded to 4001 State HWY 36 S, Brenham State Supported Living Center for an Automatic Alarm. BFD units arrived and searched the entire building and nothing was found. BFD units determined the alarm had a malfunction.
