BROOKSHIRE MAN ARRESTED IN AUSTIN COUNTY ON BURGLARY AND ROBBERY WARRANTS
A Brookshire man has been arrested in Austin County on warrants from Austin County.
On Monday, December 7, the Austin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Burglary of a Habitation and a Robbery that occurred on Mixville Road in Sealy. The suspects left the location in a Black Cadillac Escalade.
On Wednesday, December 9th, the Austin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thirty-one year old Jose Alejandro Barrera,of Brookshire on warrants for Burglary and Robbery out of Austin County. Barrera was placed into the Waller County Jail and later transferred to the Austin County Jail.
Barrera was charged with Burglary of a Habitation, Felony II and Robbery, Felony II, with a total bond of $150,000.
“This sends a message to those who continue to engage in illegal activities that we will arrest them and put them in jail where they belong,” says Sheriff Jack Brandes.
