BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AFTER FLEEING POLICE
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man faces numerous charges after his arrest early Sunday morning.
Around 1 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of High Street in reference to an assault.
The suspect, 30-year old Arturo Salgado Rodriguez of Brenham, reportedly fled in motor vehicle.
That vehicle slid off the road at the intersection of East Stone and South Blue Bell Rd.
Rodriguez then fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended by Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer.’
Rodriguez is charged with: Assault causing bodily injury/family violence; Evading arrest with vehicle; and Evading arrest.
