CYPRESS COUPLE ARRESTED FOR LOCAL THEFT

Two people from Cypress face multiple charges after their arrests in Brenham this weekend.
Cpl. Jared Campbell was called out Saturday at noon, to the local Walmart on Highway 290 West in reference to a theft.
The store had detained two people who had attempted to leave with over $1,700 worth of merchandize.
Dispatch confirmed the 33-year old Calvin M. Miller of Cypress, had an active warrant for driving while intoxicated out of Washington County and he was also in possession of prescription Xanax and Tramadol pills illegally.

He is charged with two counts of Possession of a controlled substance; Theft between $750 and $2,500; and the outstanding DWI warrant.
Meanwhile, 33-year old Wendy Raye Miller of Cypress is charged with Theft between $750 and $2500.
