SPEECH/DEBATE TOURNAMENT SEEKING JUDGES
The search is on for judges for a major speech and debate tournament to be held at Blinn College in Brenham.
The National Christian Forensics and Communications Association All-Region Speech and Debate tournament is scheduled for January 14-thru-16 on the Blinn Campus.
Susan Hare, one of the event’s local organizers, says this region is the NCFCA’s third-largest in the nation, with over 300 home-educated competitors between the ages of 12-and-18…
Hare says the competitors are articulate and professional, and that many of the judges a pleasantly surprised with the students and are more than willing to do it again.

More than 200 community volunteers will be needed over the three day event.
Each judge will attend a 30-minute orientation and each round will consist of a three-hour commitment.
