FAYETTE CO. MAN ARRESTED ON CHILD PORN CHARGES

  

A Fayette Co. man is behind bars after his arrest on drug and child pornography charges.

Fayette Co. Sheriff Keith Korenek reports after an extensive investigation into narcotic distribution, 47-year old David Kubos of Warrenton was arrested on a warrant for selling marijuana.

During a search of Kubos’ residence, deputies found marijuana which they report was packaged for distribution.

Also at Kubos’ residence, Krenek reports the discovery of multiple articles of child pornography, storage files and computers.

The computers and storage files have been sent to the Attorney General’s Office in Austin for further inspection.

Kubos remains in the Fayette Co. Jail, charged with: Delivery of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, Promotion of Obscene Material and Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography.

  1. Not to take away from the story, or the seriousness of the charges, but does anyone find it disturbing that the picture accompanying the story is of the confiscated weapons? So let’s get this straight, if the police search your house in the course of an investigation, standard procedure is to confiscate your guns.

    1. If you are being charged with a felony crime, then yes, the authorities do have the legal right to take weapons from your home or person.

      1. I knew him personally many years ago. And somehow I don’t believe they got all of his guns. His collection was much larger than that just saying.
