BLINN SBDC OFFERING HUMAN RESOURCES WORKSHOP

  

Blinn College’s Small Business Development Center will host a workshop to teach small business owners human resource skills.

Instructed by Bob Schubert, this interactive training includes attendee participation and real-life problem solving. Topics include effective interviewing, rewards and records, performance improvement, complaint investigations and federal regulations.

Schubert has more than 35 years of experience in human resources and has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.  He is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Brazos Valley Society for Human Resource Management. He also serves on the Burleson County Economic Development Council.

The workshop will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, from 6-9 p.m. at the Blinn College SBDC located at 108 Blinn Boulevard.  Registration is $20 and available online at www.blinn.edu/sbdc.
