LOCAL APPLE USER GROUP FORMED

  

A local Apple user group has been formed.

Twenty-six people attended and expressed their interest in how to better use their Apple devices.  Apple no longer offers the popular One to One instruction for new and seasoned users.

According to group organizer Ray Daugbjerg, Special Interest Groups will be organized around specific topics: iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iTunes, iPhoto and other applications.  Additional groups will meet to discuss use of Word Processing, Excel and other productivity software.

An “AP TIME” will be established, where members can meet for coffee and share knowledge.

Nationally known speakers will be invited to speak to the group.

Monthly meetings will be scheduled where video and teleconferencing capability is available. One to One instruction on "the basics" will be offered and instruction will rise as the knowledge of the group rises.

The next monthly meeting will be Tuesday, February 9 at The Cannery. 6:00 PM
