THREE ARRESTED IN LOCAL TRAFFIC STOP
Three people from Austin are in custody after their arrests Monday afternoon in Brenham.
Just after 5:15, Officer Jonathan Phipps conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Highway 290 West.
The driver gave Phipps consent to search his vehicle during which multiple credit cards were found.
All three of the occupants were arrested and charged with fraudulent use and possession of identifying information.
Taken into custody were: 27-year old Rolando Perez, 31-year old Yasser Ramos-Diaz, and 26-year old Laura Amada Pupo-Valdes, all of Austin.
