SOMERVILLE PAIR ARRESTED IN BRENHAM

Two Somerville residents face multiple charges after a traffic stop in Brenham.
38-year old Freddie Hampton Jr. and 27-year old Roderica Sessums were arrested after a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon by Brenham Police.

Hampton is charged with Unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon; Possession of a controlled substance under 4 grams; Possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams; and Possession of marijuana under 2 oz.
Sessums was arrested on a warrant for possession of marijuana out of Burleson County.
According to Brenham Police, Officer Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Hwy 105.
A search turned up methamphetamines and other narcotics as well as a handgun.
