PUBLIC FORUM FOR THE BURNING OF BRENHAM MOVIE

  

The public briefing about The Burning of Brenham movie is taking place this evening (Thursday) at 5:30pm at The Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre. The movie picture project is scheduled t to begin in Washington and Lee Counties this year.

Roy Burger, owner and CEO of RB Film Productions, will be present to meet citizens and share his plans for the project. He will give an overview of opportunities for public participation, and timeframes for activities that interested parties can watch for.

Sharon Brass, author of the book being portrayed in the movie says “We hope this forum will enable everyone to get up-to-speed at once.”

Burger says that they will bring in most of the production crew and actors but that there will be opportunities to for locals who want to act or help behind the scenes. He goes on to say that they will also allow a few local investors to participate and they don’t want local residents to be left out of this opportunity.
