WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS GRANT APPLICATION FOR SHERIFF

  

At tomorrow’s (Tuesday) Washington County Commissioners meeting the Court will discuss granting the Sheriff’s Office the authority to apply for a Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool Law Enforcement grant.

The grant would be for the purchase of safety equipment for the Sherriff’s Office Tactical Response group.

The Commissioners will act on the formal notice of a proposed buried utility line for Industry Telephone Company in Precinct 4 as well as the County Engineer’s recommended annual bid for Seal Coating for the Road and Bridge Department.

Court will also act on the County Fairgrounds Management Board policies and procedures as well as their rental and regulations contracts.

Many monthly reports will be presented, including: the District and County Clerks, Justices of the Peace, Auditor, Tax Assessor/Collector, Treasurer, Constables, Washington County Fairgrounds Management, and the Emergency Management Coordinator.

The Washington County Commissioners will meet on tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 9:00am at the Washington County Courthouse.
