27TH ANNUAL BURTON COTTON GIN FESTIVAL SCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEEKEND
The 27th annual Burton Cotton Gin Festival is scheduled for next weekend in historic Downtown Burton.
On the 15th there will be an all you can eat shrimp boil beginning at 6:00pm with a live auction. Then on the 16th there will be free admission from 10:00am to 6:00pm. A parade will be at 10:00am followed by family activities such as bubble gum blowing, pie eating, and seed pulling.
There will be over 50 craft booths, tractor pulls, and tours of the Historic 1914 Farmers Gin and Wehring Shoe Shop. Music will feature the Shiner Hobo Band, Hilltop Ramblers, and the Dujka Brothers.
