TEN ALLEGED DRUG DEALERS BUSTED BY WASHINGTON CO. S.O.
An eight-month long investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrests of 10 alleged narcotics dealers.
Sheriff Otto Hanak has announced the ten dealers are from various locations in and around Washington County.
Arrested during the operation were 48-year old Burleson County resident Sherrie Koch; 26-year old Burleson County resident Tyler Welch; 33-year old Burleson County resident Avery Burns; 48-year old Waller County resident Lynda Barrera; 30-year old Brazos County resident Joshua Griffin; 24-year old Washington County resident Dalton Roberts; 37-year old Waller County resident Ralph Makowski; 38-year old Washington County resident Daniel Rosenkranz; 51-year old Richmond resident Ali Ashraf and 27-year old Washington County resident James Pennygraph.
Sheriff says with the cooperation of other law enforcement agencies, including the Somerville, Caldwell and Brenham Police Departments, as well as the Burleson and Waller County Sheriff’s Offices, a total of 15 first degree and 14 second degree felony warrants were issued.
Approximately 5.6 ounces of methamphetamines and 8.75 pounds of synthetic cannabinoids were confiscated from these alleged dealers.
The methamphetamines have a street value of $15,720.00 and the synthetic cannabinoids, $10,591.00.
During the investigation a felony auto theft case was also solved.
Additional felony warrants and arrests are expected to follow.
