NEW V.P. AT LOCAL HOSPITAL

  

Baylor Scott & White Hospital—Brenham has a new local Vice President of Operations.

John Hughson has assumed his new duties this week.

Hughson will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital, as well as support Scott & White’s team of healthcare professionals.

Hughson comes to Brenham after serving as Chief Executive Officer at Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine.

While Hughson was at Big Bend Regional, the hospital received numerous awards and was designated a Level-4 trauma center.

Prior to taking the post in Alpine, Hughson served as administrator at Burleson St. Joseph’s Health Center in Caldwell.

Hughson earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Sam Houston State and his Masters in Health Administration at Texas A&M Health Science Center.
