FIVE ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY AND ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME
Five people have been arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
In February of this year a burglary was reported to have occurred at a residence on Old Navasota Road. During the course of the investigation by Washington County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators it was determined that several individuals were involved in the burglary where numerous rifles and boxes of ammunition were stolen.
On Thursday May 26th Washington County Sheriff’s deputies, with the assistance of the Brenham Police Department’s Crime Reduction Unit, arrested 32 year old Keith Lee Williams and 18 year old Timothy Burton, Jr. both of Washington County. 18 year old Christopher Stefanik, also a Washington County resident surrendered himself to authorities at the Sheriff’s Office.
The other two suspects were being held in the Washington County Jail on charges of Burglary of a Habitation from an unrelated case that occurred in Brenham. 17 year old Billy Dixon, Jr. and 17 year old Josey Rogers, both Washington County residents were served with their felony indictments and were also charged with Burglary of a Habitation and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
All five men remain in the Washington County Jail with combined bonds set at $75,000.00 each. $25,000 for Burglary of a Habitation and $50,000 for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
