Brenham took a moment to celebrate Memorial Day this morning (Monday) at American Legion. A special program was held to honor the fallen servicemen as people were given the opportunity to remember, reflect, and honor.

Dr. Charles W. Edwards Jr. of Austin was the featured speaker or this year’s Memorial Day tribute. Dr. Edwards is a retired lead chaplain for the Texas Army National Guard.

Dr. Edwards spoke of honoring those that have sacrificed their life.

 

This year’s Memorial Day service was concluded with a moment of silence and the folding of the American flag.
