STUDENT LEAD THEATRE PRODUCTION “LUCKY MAN” RESCHEDULED
The newly formed producing theatre company, “Gibbous Moon Productions” has rescheduled their performance for this evening (Thursday) at 8:00 PM. The show will take place at the Blinn College Band Hall. Lucky Man was scheduled for debut last Thursday but due to the storm it was postponed. “Lucky Man” is written by local Brenham High School theatre student Wilson Upchurch and being produced by Gibbous Moon Productions was founded by Troy Freeman, a Junior at Brenham High School.
“My many years of theatrical training, involvement in numerous productions and support from my family, friends and teachers were instrumental in launching Gibbous Moon Productions. Our cast, directors and crew are all passionate about theatre production and now with the high school year wrapping up, it was time to launch our first production written by one of our own, Wilson Upchurch. Staged in Chicago, Lucky Man is all your favorite sitcoms rolled into one heartfelt comedy. Local actors include Korrigan Korthauer, Rylie Patrick, Vincent Michel, Allison Stewart, Jonathan Acosta, and Keaton Korthauer.
“I think the entire community will enjoy this production and see some up dedicated young actors performing a professional and innovative performance from it’s inception to production.” concluded Freeman.
Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased at the door.
