EEA 2016 COMMUNITY OUTREACH FUNDS AWARDED

Recently EEA (Extension Education Association) of Austin County donated funds to several worthy non- profit organizations in Austin County.

The recipients of this year’s funds were: R.A.P (Raising Academic Performance), Bellville and Sealy Food Pantries, Gordon Memorial Library, West End Christian Community Center, Bellville Library and the West End Library.  Funds donated were raised through EEA’s Annual Bake Potato Luncheon.  The funds also help to generate income to support all educational programs which are sponsored by the association for the benefit of the community at no charge.

If you would like more information on how to become a part of this growing organization, please contact Michelle Allen with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service at (979)865-2072.
