ROTARY CLUB OF WASHINGTON COUNTY GIVES $16,500 TO LOCAL CHARITIES

  

The Rotary Club of Washington County awarded $16,500 to local charities at its weekly meeting this past Thursday. Checks in the amount of $1,500 each were awarded by club President Brett Smith to representatives from Brenham ISD Foundation, Brenham Christian Academy, Unity Summer Camps, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice Brazos Valley, Brenham Children’s Chorus, Brenham Heritage Museum, Faith Mission, Mission Brenham Summer Programs, Rotary House and Washington County Healthy Living.

In the past thirty days the Rotary Club of Washington County has awarded over $20,000 to charities from proceeds received through the Guntoberfest and Bike Ride charity fund raiser events. More charities are scheduled to receive donations during the month of June.
