COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING SPEED LIMIT
The Washington County Commissioners Court will hold a public hearing during their meeting this morning (Tuesday) regarding requests to reduce the speed limit on Fritz Road. Citizens will also be able to voice opinions on adding a center line double stripe for approximately 300 feet on each side of a hill of Fritz Road in precinct 3. After hearing comments in the public hearing, the commissioners will discuss and act on the approval of the reduction in speed limit and addition of a center line for Fritz Road.
The court will discuss approval for a resolution in which Washington County agrees to perform “equivalent project match projects”” on Boehnemann Road at Indian Creek Brach and Caney Creek Road in return for the “participation-waived project”. Court will consider approving the Interlocal Agreement between Washington County and the Health and Human Services Commission, for the lease of space at the Health and Service Center.
Accounts payable, pending fairgrounds contracts, as well as a change in Commissioner’s Court meeting date from June 14th to the 13th is expected to be approved.
The Washington County Commissioners will meet this morning (Tuesday) at 9:00am at the Washington County Courthouse.
