BLINN BOARD TO DISCUSS AGREEMENT WITH KIRKSEY ARCHITECTURE
The Blinn Board of Trustees will discuss authorizing the District President/CEO to execute an amended Professional Services Agreement with Kirksey Architecture for the design and construction phase services related to Blinn’s facility construction at the Texas A&M University System RELLIS campus in Bryan. The Board will also discuss executing an agreement with Terracon Consultants for Geotechnical Design services and Strong Surveying LLC for surveying services, both at the RELLIS campus.
Tuition and fees associated with the technical and community education division will be considered as well as executing a deductive change order with Vaughn Construction related to the phase one improvements for the new campus in Bryan at 851 Harvey Mitchell Parkway. The Trustees will then discuss authorizing the administration to seek bids for a three-year preventative maintenance contracts associated with the chillers, pumps, compressors, and appurtenances located at the central plant at the Brenham and Bryan campuses.
The Blinn Board will accept a donation of sheet music to the Visual and Performing Arts Department and discuss the proposed budget for the 2016 fiscal year.
The Blinn Board of Trustees will meet this evening (Tuesday), at 6:30pm in the board room on the 3rd floor of the Administration building at 802 Green Street.
