LADY LIONS CLUB DONATES $5,000 TO LONE STAR LIONS EYE BANK

  

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club donated $5,000 from their recent fundraiser to the Lone Star Lions Eye Bank of Manor. District Governor Jim Fox, LSLEB President Elect Don Ballard joined with Sara M Singleton: Family Service Coordinator Director at LSLEB and Lacy Rogers of LSLEB accepted the donation. The LSLEB, located in Manor, TX has been providing awareness, collection, processing and distribution of human ocular tissue for over 30 years.

President LaVerne Krumrey stated “Vision is Our Vision, so this is a perfect fit for our club to donate our Fundraiser proceeds to the Eye Bank. Because of the tremendous support of local business to our Fundraiser this donation was made possible.”
