POLICE, FIRE, EMS RESPOND TO BSSLC BOMB THREAT
The Brenham State Supported Living Center was on lockdown for several hours this morning after a bomb threat was called in.
Shortly before 6:00 a.m., Brenham Police were notified of the bomb threat.
The caller reportedly said a bomb had been placed in one of the buildings on the campus. All staff and clients were evacuated and a thorough building search was conducted by teams of officers.
No evidence of a bomb was found.
The Brenham Fire Department and Washington County EMS were also called to the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
