BRENHAM MAIFEST ASSOCIATION DONATES OVER $12,000 TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS

  

The Brenham Maifest Association has donated over $12,000 to local organizations.

This comes after the 126th Maifest held in Brenham this spring. Among the donations was $2,500 in college scholarships for local students. The associated also donated $2,850 to bands that participated in the Maifest Parade. Approximately $1,400 was raised from the festival’s carousel rides and was donated to the city of Brenham.

The Maifest Association aims to enrich the lives of the citizens of Washington County, and to receive gifts, donations and funds for this purpose each year.
