OVER $46,000 RAISED AT FEAST OF CARING
The 23rd Annual Feast of Caring took place in Bryan on Wednesday with hundreds of people in attendance. The event was a success, raising $46,800 for the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
The lunch featured a meal of rice, beans, sausage, salad and dessert. The fundraiser helps fill many of the food bank’s needs and operation costs.
Each year, the Brazos Valley Food Bank distributes almost 7 million pounds of food to people in need.
