MAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER OF TEXAS A&M STUDENT

An arrest has been made in the murder of a Texas A&M student over the weekend.
According police records, 22-year-old Victor Manuel Garcia-Loyo was taken into custody on Sunday in Fort Worth and charged with murder.
Police found 21-year-old Maricarmen Quiroz-Octaviano dead at her College Station apartment from gunshot wounds Saturday.
According to a probable cause statement, Garcia-Loyo said he was in a relationship with Quiroz-Octaviano, and that they had gotten into an argument before the shooting. Garcia-Loyo confessed to the police after they found a gun, spent bullets, and bloody clothes in his backpack.
Garcia-Loyo is being held at the Brazos County Jail with his bail set at $500,000.
